“That’s one hot band right there!” – Huey Morgan, BBC Radio 2

“Rob Heron evokes the spirit of Bob Wills and Django Reinhardt with a quintet that shuffles and boogies with panache. Infectiously good-humoured” – Uncut Magazine

“Amazing musicians who play with both passion and a sympathetic regard for the history of the genre.” – Maverick Magazine

“On this, their second album of skewed Texas swing, gypsy jazz and hot, humorous country blues they’ve added reeds and horns for a big, thick sound, but their spontaneous combustion is always unstoppable. – The Scotsman

'Fantastic' Genevieve Tudor BBC Radio Shropshire

With the unique instrumental line up of clarinet, violin and guitar, Threaded creates a distinctive sound like you’ve never heard before. With a classically trained background but a love for folk and acoustic music, this young and inspired trio wanted to combine their passions into one musical experience. This culminates in a creative ensemble, with an eclectic array of styles and influences in their original material. Their debut album, 'of what we spoke' has been met with fantastic reviews, and their music has been played on BBC Radio 3, BBC Radio Wales and BBC Radio Shropshire.
