Jeremy Tuplin After a wildly successful London Album Launch, Jeremy Tuplin is coming to Oxford to perform songs from his new album

Jeremy Tuplin is a singer-songwriter from Somerset, now living in London. He has released two EPs and his debut album, ‘I Dreamt I Was Astronaut’ came out on Folkwit Records in September this year. He has drawn many comparisons, from Leonard Cohen to Bill Callahan or Jake Thackray, to being described by one reviewer (Folk Radio UK) as being ‘the missing link between Nick Drake and ‘Space-Oddity’-era Bowie’.

Clash Music - "A cosmic gem... cooking up something special..."

Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 - "Unconventional, conversational and intimate."

The Telegraph Culture - "Hints of Leonard Cohen and Bill Callahan... Stunningly candid."

Tom Ivey Music

Formed in late 2014 from the ashes of several of Oxford's long running rock groups the Tom Ivey Band came together through a combined love of loud live music, classic New Orleans funk, Rock and Roll and a liberal splash of alcoholic beverages. The last two years has seen the band honing their show at clubs, pubs and festivals, developing into the foot stomping live act they are today.

Tom's first album Towers Of Silence was self released just before the groups formation, but the guys hit Soundworks Studio in Oxford and with help from a huge number of friendly artists, musicians, promoters, events organisers and fans of Rock'n'Roll the new album Green Fever was released in June 2016.

Robin Elliott

Robin Elliott is a songwriter and singer hailing from the North West of England. A gruff, dry sense of humour, a voice like brushed smoke, and a creative, astute approach to guitar playing and songwriting. His experimentations never detract from the melodiousness of the songs, or the emotional power of his performances. Robin has written material performed by Ben Walker, Samantha Whates and Sophie Jamieson, amongst others, and his music and songs have featured on the soundtrack of the feature film A Very British Gangster and on Channel 4's Cutting Edge documentary strand. His last EP release, 'Green Ginger Wine', was met with some acclaim, and continues to garner more as it is heard more widely. New record 'At Sunset' sees Robin pared back to essentials - voice and guitar – attempting to hone down to the timeless buried in the topics of today, and to paint it all black, stark, and with warmth.
